I found a curved version of the cardboard cat chaise in the pet section at Walmart and the boys were quite impressed! They really love this stuff and lay on it every day.

When I was a kid, Sunday nights at 6pm we'd be calling our seats and settling in for the Wonderful World of Disney. Whether it was Herbie The Love Bug, the Shaggy D.A., Freaky Friday, The Parent Trap, or one of my all time favorites, Escape to Witch Mountain, Disney never disappointed.
I still feel that way today and I love when they remake my favorite shows to be enjoyed and remembered by a whole new generation.
Before my husband and I began dating we met at a mutual friend's house who was bragging that she had all of the Disney movies. Upon hearing this, the first thing he asked was "Do you have Escape To Witch Mountain?" When I arrived an hour or so later and our friend again mentioned that she had been telling Bill she had most of the Disney movies, I asked the same exact question "Do you have Escape To Witch Mountain?" This was to be the first of many coincidences that we experience as we often blurt out the same thing simultaneously or make a gesture at the same time as the other which then sends us teetering into a fit of laughter.
Let it be known that our friend did not indeed own "Escape To Witch Mountain"... which left her collection to be very lacking in our eyes.
We saw Race to Witch Mountain Wednesday evening and it didn't disappoint. Tony and Tia even made a cameo appearance. It's a great movie for kids as well as adults who are kids at heart:)

We live in a relatively new development, therefore not many trees and none of them mature...thus not the most attractive area for birds. Nonetheless, we have occasional visitors despite the sparse conditions... not to mention the four cat eyes in the window excitedly peering out at them! (=^_^=) (=^_^=)

Kal's urging me to hurry up and drink the rest of this water so he can use the wrapper as his cave. He tried to fit in and had to smash his face against the plastic to turn around. It was hilarious! =)
